Here we cover the importance of ensuring your flash machine is properly calibrated and why it should work to ensure multi colour designs to cure properly. Flashing is an important part of any screen printing shop allowing the printer to semi cure the colour to ensure the next layer of print which sits on top gives the finish which is acceptable in any quality standard. Printing washing away after few washes is a common issue which all customer might face if the curing process is not done properly. Flashing is also part of the curing process to ensure the plastisol ink sets to ensure it will not wash away after 1 wash. If the flash is not working properly in terms of the right amount of heat it emits then each layer on top of the multi colour print will not be 100% cured and then there are chances that the print will wash away.

Best way is to ensure flash is calibrated and regular tests to be carried out to ensure your customers will be happy and satisfied with their printed t shirt jobs even after many washes.
